Foto reportage.
-- Since I began to take piano lessons I realized that music has a strong component of phisicality. Playing an instrument is a wide gesture into the space. And the space melts around an orchestra. This reportage pays a tribute to the concept of shared space and to the musical gesture in its deepest sense. -- credits Many thanks to the members of the orchestra "La Verdi per tutti" and to the orchestra leader M° Matthieu Mantanus. Further thanks to Gabriele e Gianrico Agresta. --- 15 th September 2008 I hardly ever expected a daily deviation. And I really didn't expect it to be assigned to this shot I am very grateful. I would like to thank whoever suggested and liked this picture in spite of its faults. ___ ~frictionfire made me notice that the biggest fault of this picture could be corrected and I did it. I want to keep the square shape even if it is forced for a specific choice of symmetry. It would have been stupid not to fix the problem seen that I have the means to do it. Daily DeviationGiven 2008-09-14Suggester says: "La Verdi per tutti 001 by *kirjava is an interesting piece of work, due to the fact that it's a reportage shooting made in b/w with a strong visual emphasis, trying to bring the emotions of a form of art (music) to another (photography)." Sir, I admit your general rule,
That every poet is a fool,
But you yourself may serve to show it,
That every fool is not a poet.
Samuel Taylor Coleridge, "Epigram"
